1. Is your internet so slow that you cannot download Steam games at a reasonable rate? Well, with a new Steam update, you can! The new Steam update will change the way files are transferred, now using an HTTP delivery system. You don’t have to know what that means, but it’s better than what is currently offered now. Also in the update will include a change to in-game updates. Before, Steam replaced most of the content files when it updated the game, but now they have found a way to only change the files they need to change, removing all the extra time it would take to replace an entire directory of files. I, for one am happy about this, because I like to play my games when I want to play my games, not clicking play then have to wait a minute to play while it updates. What do you think about this change? (For more information, read the full article)
2. Batman fans, rejoice! With Batman: Arkham City releasing in October of this year, the Collector’s Edition news has come out in full detail. Priced at $99 (the Arkham Asylum CE was only $79), the pack will include a ‘premium statue’, an art book, animated material and you get to play the DLC early! How does this sound for a collector’s edition? Would you buy this collector’s edition for the $40 more it costs compared to the standalone game? Post your opinion in the comments! 3. Since I mention Theatrhythm Final Fantasy every other article it seems, it’s only fitting to tell more details that were just released about the game. The game will feature over 50 songs, including three from every Final Fantasy game from I-XIII. We loosely know about the story, now, though. It says that the force of rhythm is in trouble and only past members of Final Fantasy games can put it back in order. That’s all we know so far, but the story sounds kind of ridiculous from what we know now. What do you think about these new details? (For more information, read the full article)
Thanks for the news!
