1. Some Cave Story 3D news for today (that’s right, back to the old 3DS shtick)! The developers squashed some rumors about the game today in an interview. When asked about how much the game was going to vary from the original version they said that there weren’t going to be any new stages, but the existing stages would contain more secrets (more Curly panties, anyone?) and they would be extended. In Nintendo Power it said the original game would be unlocked after you beat the 3D version, but now they say there wasn’t enough space on the cartridge so they had to remove it. I hope they really used the extra space to their advantage and made a great remake of Cave Story. What do you think? Are you excited for this game? Is it good that they’re adding more secrets and extending the stages? (For more information, read the full article)
2. Everybody loves it when Sony blows things out of proportions, right? Today in South Africa a man was arrested in the world’s first “PS3 circumvention raid.” During the raid the South African police officials went to this guy’s house and took $14,000 worth of computers, PS3s, hard drives, and jail broken systems. All because the guy wanted to jail break his PS3. That’s just crazy in my opinion. Instead of focusing on good games and services all they care about is that no one jailbreaks their console. He wasn’t, you know, hacking PSN or anything. What do you think? Is it right to barge into a person’s home and arrest him for jail breaking his console? (For more information, read the full article)

3. When I picked up a Kinect a few weeks ago, I immediately noticed one problem: there isn’t enough space in my game room for this thing! The Kinect recommends standing 6-10 feet away from the camera. Who has that kind of room? I have about 7 feet, and that’s IF I move all the furniture around, it’s crazy. But with this new product called the Nyko Zoom, it cuts out the space necessary by 40%. Now this could be a great thing, except that it is going to cost $30. Basically $30 for a camera lens that you stick to the front of your camera. I’m not sure if I want to pick one up because it is possible to play, I just gotta move all the furniture around and $30 isn’t a good alternative to laziness. The Zoom comes out Sept. 13th. What do you think? Is the Nyko Zoom a good deal? (For more information, read the full article)
1 - Dont know the game so nothing to add. watched a trailler and didnt appeal to me.
ReplyDelete2 - As usual. You buy something you do whatever the hell you want with it. And breaking the system does not equals piracy, so I dont like this kind of news.
3 - Well moving the room around just to play a game doesnt seam worth it to me either.... but i do not like this kind of crud so....
Keep up the good work!
